Health and Safety Training

Effective training is an integral part of any health and safety management plan, and here at Green's of Haddington we are happy to provide comprehensive, informative and entertaining training to your staff, covering all aspects of basic health and safety awareness.

We Specialise in Health and Safety Training within Rural and Agricultural Settings

Whether you are the owner of a landed estate, a farmer, a local business owner, or the person responsible for organising a game shoot, you must comply with health and safety regulations as set out by the Health & Safety at Work etc Act 1974. Part of your duty is ensuring that your staff receive adequate training and are aware of their responsibilities to themselves and each other.

At Green's of Haddington, we can support you in providing effective H&S training that takes into account the unique risks posed by your environment.

We can also advise clients on what statutory training you require. This may include the use of chainsaws, quad bikes, forklifts, firearms and agricultural machinery.

What are some of the key areas that you and your staff should be trained in?

  • The major causes of injury in the workplace, and especially in agricultural and rural environments

  • Operating plant and machinery

  • Work at height

  • Manual Handling

  • Lone Working
